New Delhi: Vivo is all set to launch its next T-Series smartphone, the Vivo T4R 5G, in India on 31st July at 12 PM. The company officially confirmed the launch date today, and it looks like this device is aiming to shake up the mid-range segment with some eye-catching specs and a premium design.

The Vivo T4R 5G will join the brand’s growing T-series lineup, which already includes models like the Vivo T4 Ultra. This new entry is grabbing attention for its quad-curved display. a rare feature in this price range, along with a sleek, modern look. Teasers suggest the phone will launch in two colour options: a clean white and a stylish purple gradient.

Vivo has confirmed that the T4R 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, a capable processor that promises smooth performance for everyday use and gaming. On the camera front, the phone will sport a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, capable of 4K video recording, which is a big plus for content creators and casual users alike.
As expected from Vivo, the T4R 5G is likely to ship with Funtouch OS 15, running on top of Android 15. That means users can expect a clean interface with useful customisations.
Vivo T4R 5G vs iQOO Z10R: Are They Twins?
Here’s an interesting bit: the design and specs of the Vivo T4R 5G are strikingly similar to the recently launched iQOO Z10R, from the camera module with the signature Aura Light ring, to the matte-finished back panel, glossy sides, and quad-curved screen.
This isn’t too surprising, though. Vivo owns iQOO, and the two brands often share designs and hardware. If the T4R 5G turns out to be a rebranded iQOO Z10R, we can expect IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage.
Expected Price in India
While the price is yet to be officially revealed, the iQOO Z10R starts at ₹19,499 in India. If the Vivo T4R 5G offers similar specs, it’s fair to expect a price in the same ballpark. That would make it a value-for-money option for those looking for a stylish, powerful 5G phone in the sub-₹20,000 segment.
