India: Vivo is all set to shake up the mid-range smartphone market again, this time with the much-awaited Vivo V60, which is expected to launch in India on August 12, 2025. Leaks and rumours have already given us a solid sneak peek into the device, and if they’re anything to go by, the Vivo V60 could be one of the sleekest camera-centric phones in its segment.

Expected Price and Availability in India

According to a recent report by SmartPrix, the Vivo V60 price in India is expected to fall between ₹37,000 and ₹40,000. It’s likely to be available in three colour variants: Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. While some earlier rumours hinted at an August 19 launch, newer reports strongly suggest the August 12 date.

This upcoming device will succeed the Vivo V50, which debuted earlier this year on February 17. For reference, the Vivo V50 started at ₹34,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the higher-end 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions were priced at ₹36,999 and ₹40,999, respectively.

Vivo V60 Specifications: What to Expect

The Vivo V60 is rumoured to sport a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits ideal for media consumption and gaming. The phone is also expected to support 90W fast charging, which should power up its large 6,500mAh battery in no time.

Under the hood, the Vivo V60 will likely run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, paired with Funtouch OS based on Android 16. Users can also look forward to stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and IP68/IP69-rated water and dust resistance, giving it a premium and durable edge.

Camera: ZEISS Optics & Triple-Lens Setup

Vivo’s camera game has always been strong, and the V60 seems to be no different. As per leaked renders and sources, the phone will feature a ZEISS-branded triple rear camera setup, including:

  • 50MP main sensor

  • 8MP ultra-wide lens

  • 50MP 3X periscope telephoto lens

For selfies and video calls, the phone is tipped to come with a sharp 50MP front camera ideal for content creators and selfie lovers alike.

Design and Build

Recent leaks have revealed a pill-shaped rear camera island, giving the V60 a fresh, distinctive look. The flat display and clean lines are expected to give it a modern, flagship-level vibe while still keeping the price in check.
